About Gibson Dove

The Gibson Dove was launched in 1962.
It was Gibson's second guitar with the so called "Square-Shoulder" - Dreadnought body.
Compared to its sibling, the famous Gibson Hummingbird, the Dove is louder and more brilliant. The maple wood used for the back and the sides, brings a lot of presence and projection. The dreadnought body provides warmth and the smooth sound.
